System architect & developer
Where this site came from — the idea for it was his. He laid the foundation the rest of it stands on: he owns the domain the family hangs off, he built the sign-in every app we use sits behind, he stood up the servers holding our movies and music, and he moved those services onto the cluster. He wrote the release process every change still ships through, too — and he is the second pair of eyes on all of it, catching what Darren is too close to see.
Host & developer
Hosts the server everything here runs on — the site, the family's movie and music libraries, the game servers — and is the developer behind the games, the artwork and the family's mail: the Delgotchi pets, the paint program, and the 2001-style desktop the whole site is dressed as.
Homelab admin & developer
One of the three keeping the family's hardware running — the machines this site, the movie and music libraries and the game servers all live on — and the newest pair of hands building on the site itself. This card is his to write.
The original — 2001
Built the family's FIRST web desk, delrez.com, back in 2001, on his own time and his own hardware. Every 2001 habit on this site — the hit counter, the MIDI, the guestbook — started with him.
Everything is built in the family's own time, tested on a throwaway copy of the database before it reaches you, and shipped through the pipeline Darren and Wilee review. Nothing here is off-limits to ask about.
Where this came fromdelrez.com went up in 2001 and ran until 2005: a family web desk with a guestbook, a hit counter and a MIDI. Then it went quiet for twenty years. In 2026 Darren and Wilee brought it back as delarosafams.com — same family, same desk, their own hardware this time, and the 2001 habits left exactly where they were.
Every project here has a state and — where we know them — the dates we said. Nothing is announced as shipped until it is live on this site and read back from it.
